  Vancouver Board of Parks & Recreation is looking for up to 300 volunteers for the 2013 Celebrate! Stanley Park in Vancouver, BC on August 24th & 25th.
This summer’s Celebrate! Stanley Park festivities will showcase the park’s best ecological, cultural, and historical attributes, with a special focus on First Nations experiences and stories. Celebrate! Stanley Park will also feature a full line-up of amazing musical performances, local children’s entertainers, historical tours, along with Rugby and cricket games.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase this premiere destination park and urban forest, famous throughout the world for its beauty and tranquility.
 Volunteer positions are needed for a variety of roles leading up to and during the event including:
       Greeters & Hosts
       Wayfinding
       Park Stewards
       Team leaders
       Recycling Stewards
       Information Booth Attendants
       Kids Programming Assistants
       Ambassadors
       Hospitality
       Production Assistants (Set-up and tear down)
Volunteers must be at least 16-years-old, enjoy working with the public and be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours of volunteer work.
