organizers and a day of fun, inspiration and excitement!
Set-up - Friday 12:00-6:00 p.m.
Pre-check-in/Expo - Saturday 9 - 6 p.m.
Race Day: Sunday 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. / Take down 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Many positions are available, including: Bike Course Marshals, Run
Course Marshals, Water Stations, Transition Area, Start/Finish Area,
Swim Course, Kids’ Run, Registration & more

Vancouver Board of Parks & Recreation is looking for up to 300 volunteers for the 2013
Celebrate! Stanley Park in Vancouver, BC on August 24th & 25th.
This
summer’s Celebrate! Stanley Park festivities will showcase the park’s
best ecological, cultural, and historical attributes, with a special
focus on First Nations experiences and stories. Celebrate!
Stanley Park will also feature a full line-up of amazing musical
performances, local children’s entertainers, historical tours, along
with Rugby and cricket games.
This
will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase this premiere destination
park and urban forest, famous throughout the world for its beauty and
tranquility.
Volunteer positions are needed for a variety of roles leading up to and during the event including:

Greeters & Hosts
•
Wayfinding
•
Park Stewards
•
Team leaders
•
Recycling Stewards
•
Information Booth Attendants
•
Kids Programming Assistants
•
Ambassadors
•
Hospitality
•
Production Assistants (Set-up and tear down)
Volunteers
must be at least 16-years-old, enjoy working with the public and be
able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours of volunteer work.
